So - maybe drinking part of a can of seltzer water just prior to your Glucose Tolerance Test can cause you to fail.
Then again, maybe you just have gestational diabetes because - well, why not?
Why would you be allowed a normal pregnancy? One where there is no drama over fibroids, low lying placentas, possible, bleeding, premature labor and now gestational diabetes? Obviously way too much to ask for!
On to the three hour test this Wednesday. I so do not feel like dealing with this!
good luck with the 3 hour test

These little tests in life that we're given are supposedly supposed to make us stronger. I think that's crap. It is really enough to wear someone down sometimes, eh? But hold on to the miracle that is growing inside you. You will make it and you will be fine. GD or not. But as a normally optimistic person, I am crossing my fingers for you to pass that three-hour glucose test without a hitch.

No one told me to fast before my test so I had a bowl of cheerios for breakfast. I totally failed. I did the three hour (and fasted this time) and I passed with flying colors. Hope it is the same for you. Make sure you have a good book or magazine or some other way to pass the time.
