Good for you for taking it easy over the weekend.

How about let labor happen on it's own and then do a c if needed?

I completely understand about the gifts.

Happy to hear the little tyke is still doing well!

sounds like baby is doing well - don't worry about other people or the registry

There's a Jewish custom of not keeping baby things / gifts in the house until the baby is born safely, for just the reasons you describe here. Usually a friend keeps them for you. Might be something to consider!

There is a Jewish custom of not keeping baby gifts/acoutrements in the home until the baby is born safely. Usually a friend will keep them for you. This is for the exact reasons you describe feeling about the tags. Perhaps trying this would make you feel better?

Glad that you have your fabulous dr by your side!

I know it's annoying to have people who are excited for you turn pushy. Not that I am trying to disregard your feelings but did you and your hubby talk about having a "Welcome Baby" party for him after his arrival? And not allowing a date to be set until he is safely in your arms?? Just thinking it may get some people off your back!

Lots of hugs and so thrilled for you!!!!

I'm glad things seem to be going well! It looks like your doctor is really trying hard to give you what you want. He seems like a great guy.

I know your family and friends are annoying you with their registry requests but it's because they love you. They don't understand because they haven't been there. They want to show you and the baby all the love that they have and in our culture that means GIFTS, GIFTS, GIFTS. They really aren't trying to criticize your list or say you don't know what you need. They just don't understand how scared you are, how much you've lost. If you can be kind to them now, it will go a long way. (Please don't hit me!)
